Outside of work she likes to saltwater fish and travel whenever she gets the chance!

Angela Jugan, DVM

Dr. Jugan was born and raised in Slidell, LA, a suburb of New Orleans, and graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time she enjoy the outdoors, trying new restaurants in the area, Mississippi State ( Hail State!), and Saints football. Her professional interests include theriogenelogy (reproduction), clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, and surgery. Her favorite things to do at work are meeting new patients/clients, emergency cases, and ultrasonography. Dr. Jugan and her husband have two dogs (Willow and Asher), two cats (Sadler and Don), and just become a new mommy to a brand new baby boy!

Ashley Acosta,
Vet Technician

My name is Ashley Acosta and I have worked as a veterinary technician for Loving Care Pet Hospital since June 2017. I've loved animals since my childhood and my goal is to be able to care for them with nothing but compassion and understanding. I'm a very loving, caring and kind person, who enjoys the outdoors and helping others. I hope to see you and your furry loved one in our clinic doing great.

Ralph
Clinic Cat #2

My name is Ralph and I am the official door greeter for Loving Care Pet Hospital. I have been a team member since July 2014, when the Hospital Administrator found me causing trouble on the streets. She took me in, taught me manners, and gave me a job. Now that I am domesticated, I enjoy roaming the halls and visiting hospitalized patients, making sure the staff stays in line, and begging for a yummy treat. While I’ve mainly giving up the street life, I still enjoy the occasional cat-nip from time to time, but the manager says it’s unacceptable to do it during hospital hours.
